Aagaahi - A Smart Helmet

Road accidents are a major problem in today's scenario. Rash driving, drunk driving and unwillingness to follow the traffic rules are its major causes. In this paper, a solution to this problem has been proposed through a newly built system named "Aagaahi - A Smart Helmet". The aim of this work is to propose a cost effective and user-friendly protection system for the rider's safety. The rider will be able to use his two-wheeler only when he is sober and is wearing his helmet. The system also sends a notification to emergency contacts in case of severe accidents. Its main objective is to reduce injuries caused to riders of two wheelers during road accidents and provide swift delivery of help and medical care.
