Guaranteed Cost Control for Uncertain Gene Regulatory Networks with Interval Time-Varying Discrete Delays and Constant Distributed Delays

For a class of uncertain genetic regulatory networks with interval time-varying discrete delays and constant distributed delays, this paper investigates the problem of robust guaranteed cost control. The aim is to design a state feedback controller such that the resultant closed-loop system is robustly asymptotically stable and has guaranteed cost. The linear matrix inequality method combined with the convex technique, the slack matrix technique and the integral inequality technique is employed to present the existence and design method of expected controllers. The controller design problem is boiled down to solve a set of linear matrix inequalities, which can be realized easily by employing the standard toolbox softwares. The simulation results of an illustrative example show the applicability of the proposed design method.
