Secured IC Provisioning Using Advanced Memory Devices

In this paper, we will discuss the implications of using advanced memory devices on integrated circuit provisioning. We will also show the impact that this will have on the security of the device and how this device can help combat some forms of counterfeiting throughout the supply chain. Considerations will be made as to which advanced memory device will need to be used to achieve the goals set forth in this paper such as provisioning integrated circuits using logic obfuscation methods. The solution simulated in this paper will combine these methods of logic obfuscation, advanced memory devices, and time decay to show that an integrated circuit can be provisioned for different users, testing, and/or security.
