CDBA based Quadrature Sinusoidal Oscillator with Non-Interactive Control

This paper illustrates a newly introduced Quadrature Sinusoidal Oscillator (QSO) circuit employing Current Differencing Buffered Amplifier (CDBA) as active elements. The frequency, as well as condition of oscillation, can be tuned independently. Due to the internally grounded terminals of CDBA, the parasitic parameters such as resistances and capacitances can be reduced. The performance of the proposed circuit is also assessed by well-known Monte-Carlo simulations. The experimental verification is carried out using the commercially available Current Feedback Operational Amplifier (CFOA) based IC AD844AN. For the generation of periodic oscillations, the proposed topology employs two CDBAs as analog building blocks (ABBs) and a few passive elements which are simulated using PSPICE 0.5 μm CMOS technology.
