Methods and Techniques to Improve Network Duration through Secured Node Disjoint Clustering

Nowadays self-configuring ability of Mobile Adhoc NETwork (MANET) enables new development in network connectivity, scalability and robustness. It consists of a large number of tinny sensor nodes to provide communication support in the critical environment such as battlefield, disaster management and rescue task. Accurate measurement and reporting of different critical environmental parameters to the foremost location can be achieved by continuous supervising through the mobile sensor nodes. These sensor nodes are operated by limited energy batteries and conservation of battery power will extend the entire network duration. So, the Research spotlight of MANET is mainly focused on power conservation and secure data broadcasting. In this paper, we present a Security Enabled cluster head Node Disjoint Power-Aware Clustering (SENDPAC) to extend the network duration. Through the network simulator (NS2.34) improvements obtained by the proposed technique on MANET are examined.
