Adaptive Joint Channel Estimation of Digital Self-Interference Cancelation in Co-time Co-frequency Full-Duplex Underwater Acoustic Communication

We propose a new channel estimation technology of digital self-interference cancellation method to solve the severe self-interference problem of co-time co-frequency full-duplex communication in underwater acoustic communication. Generally, the intended signal is regarded as interference during the self-interference channel estimation. In this paper, self-interference signal and intended signal are combined based on adaptive algorithm to estimate self-interference and intended channel. We use the self-interference channel obtained by the proposed method to reconstruct self-interference signal for digital self-interference cancellation. Compared with the self-interference channel method that use only self-interference signal, our proposed method has higher accuracy, improves the performance of digital self-interference cancellation, and improves the performance of Co-time Co-frequency full-duplex underwater acoustic communication.
