Simulation of Ship-radiated Noise Based on Shallow Marine Environment

Ship-radiated noise is the information source for underwater target detection, and it is the basis for sonar and underwater weapons to search and attack the passive targets. In this paper, the hydroacoustic characteristics of ship-radiated noise is studied firstly. Then AR modeling is used to estimate the noise with continuous spectrum, and the sinusoidal signal is used as the model to estimate the noise with line spectrum. Simultaneously, the motion of the ship and the influence of the shallow marine environment are considered as well. Finally, the simulation of the ship-radiated noise is carried out.
