Analysis of Factors Affecting Power Load Characteristics Based on Grey Relational Analysis Model

In recent years, with the economy entering a new normal state and being affected by industrial transfer policies, the power demand in the Jibei area has undergone major changes, and the load characteristics have also emerged with new features. The analysis on the influencing factors of load characteristics is conducive to improving the accuracy of load forecasting and providing a basis for power grid planning. In this context, the gray correlation analysis model is used to quantitatively analyze the factors affecting the power load characteristics according to the historical economic data, electricity consumption data and load characteristic data of the Jibei area from 2006 to 2017, and the main factors affecting the load characteristics index are summarized. Based on the analysis results, suggestions for the power load forecasting work in the Jibei area are put forward, which is helpful to better grasp the changes and rules of the load characteristics, and to help the power sector do a good job in scheduling planning analysis.
