Development of a Cost-effective High Accuracy Multi-channel RTD Signal Conditioner

The paper discusses the development and testing of a multi-channel RTD signal conditioner designed to study hybrid heating and cooling systems, which include two or more energy sources: solid fuel boiler; heat pump system and/or solar collectors. An "Expansion card" has been developed to increase the number of the analogue RTD channels provided by DAQ-board LabJack UE9 and to ensure high accuracy of temperature measurements at the price about 0.5 Euro per channel.
