Distributed Public Cloud on Low Power Devices

The current cloud providers run their cloud platforms on big private data centers with huge power demands and resource consumptions. This paper presents a model for a distributed, free, public cloud on low power devices. The main idea is to use peoples home low power devices and their resources to build a free distributed cloud platform. The attempt has been made to use existing open source technologies. The research will allow building public distributed cloud platforms offering different services like storage, computation etc. as an alternative to the proprietary cloud platforms running on huge powerful centralized private data centers.
