Overall performance analysis of a resonant driver with different LED output stages

The paper highlights the results achieved based on a practical implementation of a front-end AC-AC converter for LED lighting application. The converter has unique properties of obtaining a quasi-constant current for the LED and high power factor without a special closed-loop control. Different output LED circuit arrangements are used, and the overall performances of the LED drivers attained are being presented, considering both the electrical and optical characteristics.
