An Adaptive Digital Fuzzy Control Scheme For Mechatronic Systems

Many mechatronic systems have control difficulties due to the time-varying dynamic behavior and external disturbances, which cannot be predicted in a working environment. PID type controllers are insufficient to solve these problems. An adaptive digital fuzzy controller has been proposed as a solution to these limits and inefficiencies of PID type controllers. An adaptive digital fuzzy control is applied to solve the control problem of the second order mechatronic systems and could be applicable for different areas, such as industrial systems, military, and robotics. A performance and the complexity comparison is made between the digital fuzzy and adaptive digital fuzzy controllers.
