Measurement of nonlinear distortion at high frequencies in preemphasised circuits

The method described provides a straightforward method of measuring nonlinear distortion at the upper end of the audio frequency band. It is easily used and allows measurements to be made in a variety of preemphasised circuits with a minimum chance of error in the alignment of levels or in the choice of preemphasis characteristics.<>
