Running State Monitoring of Circuit Breaker Handcart Driving Motor

For now, there is no means for the withdrawable switchgear to monitor the running state of the circuit breaker handcart driving motor. This paper presented a solution by designing a intelligent motor module for circuit breaker handcart and developing the corresponding host computer software in C# language on .NET platform. The intelligent motor module served as power source of circuit breaker handcart, and the digital operating data could be gathered and transmitted to the upper computer. The functions of the host computer software included displaying real-time message, drawing real-time curves, monitoring of position of circuit breaker handcart, data storage and over-current protection. Result of a test showed that the mentioned functions could be realized, and the software could display the information more intuitively.
