Design Study Case Overview for Naval Power Generation and Delivery

This paper is an overview of the challenges presented of the power system design for a ship, especially for the Main Switchboard (MSB) design, pointing on the safety, fault tolerant of power system functional stages. In this paper we used the naval technical specification and came with solutions for a ship study case. In the end conclusions were drawn regarding the safety, precision, future performance and technical aspects of the study case.
