Abstract:

This article presents results of modeling the operation of a microwave-photonic measuring system for assessing a tangential component of deformation of a vehicle tire using address fiber Bragg structures. The presented study is motivated by the fact that a modern development of science and computer technology allows the early stages of new devices development to predict possible difficulties in creating a new type of measuring device, which is very relevant today. Since an empirical testing of new devices aimed at developing active vehicle safety systems poses financial and legal difficulties.
