200 Gbit/s net rate transmission over 2 km with a silicon photonic segmented MZM

We transmit 240 Gbit/s over 2 km below the 2.0E-02 Soft-Decision FEC threshold, using a single silicon photonic segmented-electrode MZM, 2.3 Vpp/segment and linear equalization only. This is the highest baudrate and first 200 Gbit/s net rate silicon modulator demonstrated in a IMDD system.
