Reduced-complexity chromatic dispersion compensation method

A novel algorithm to compensate CD using only one FFT operation is presented. Experimental results indicate that the proposed formulation achieves equivalent performance as the FDE technique with overlap-save reconstruction for transmission distances from 1,000 km to 10,000 km at potentially half the complexity.
