Numerical Simulation of PbS-EDT Quantum Dot Solar Cell with different Buffer Layers

In this paper, PbS-EDT based quantum dot solar cell is investigated with different buffer layers viz n-ZnO/n-CdS. The electrical properties of the proposed solar cell are analyzed with different thickness of the absorber layer. The higher conversion efficiency is observed with the n-ZnO buffer layer at optimum bandgap. The spectral response of solar cells with n-ZnO validates the improved conversion efficiency.
