Average Channel Capacity over Mixture Gamma Distribution

With the advancement of new technologies, high data rate is considered as the primary requirement of all the communication systems. Maximum data transportation capability of the wireless channel is addressed in terms of the channel capacity. In this regard, we derive new expressions for the optimal rate adaptation (ORA), optimal power rate adaptation (OPRA), channel inversion with fixed rate (CIFR), and truncated channel inversion with fixed rate (TIFR) channel capacity over mixture Gamma (MG) distribution. In addition, we also propose low and high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) solutions to ORA, and CIFR capacity schemes. At last, we validate our derived numerical results through Monte-Carlo simulation.
