Analysis of an Efficient Gateway Discovery & Dispatching for Vehicular Ad-hoc Network

People are gaining high interest to access the internet through vehicular networks from the research community in which it is very necessary to connect constantly to the Internet for achieving stable internet services on road. Cloud computing refers to the allocation of computational resources and the number of services as per the demands of the Internet. The proper Internet gateway needs to be discovered and should select a proper way to provide information and data services to VANET users. The paper brings a mechanism of proper gateway discovery for stably gaining the connection to the Internet with the consideration of the gateway's loading parameter. Cloud services play a very vital role for the users of vehicular ad hoc network (VANET). Advancement in wireless networks makes access possible to the Internet from VANETs. Although, the features of VANETs, it hinds the provision of cloud services to VANETs. Thus it is very essential to find appropriate internet gateways so that VANET users can connect to the cloud efficiently. A proper discovery of gateway & dispatching method is done in this paper. This project can help to enlarge packet delivery rate, minimizes end-to-end delay, and decrease packet loss for routing to the Internet in VANETs.
