The Benefits of Mining Techniques in Digital Transformation of Engineering Education

The paper discusses the problems of digital transformation of education and the features of Industry 4.0 through the involvement of ICT. The impact of both in the engineering education are described. Some principles of Data mining and Process mining are presented. These play an important role in education of future professionals in the engineering domain that is in line with the goals of the next industrial revolution.
