The method of fault line selection for distribution network based on adaptive scale symlets wavelet

Aiming at the problem that the existing line selection method judges the error of the fault line in the single-phase grounding fault of the small current system, the paper proposes the non-stationary signal based on the single-phase grounding fault generated by the neutral point arc-suppression coil grounded system, a power distribution fault line selection method based on adaptive scale Symlets wavelet is designed. The voltage increment and current increment after the grounding fault are determined by wavelet transform to determine the fault time and the appropriate line selection scale, then the maximum value of each line mode and its polarity is obtained. Experiments show that the adaptive scale Symlets wavelet fault line selection method can quickly and accurately select fault lines with higher reliability and accuracy.
