Research on Time-sharing Control Strategy of shunt APF anti-Startup impulse

In view of the problem of start-up impulse current and voltage when shunt active power filter is paralleled in the power grid, a time-sharing start-up strategy is proposed to suppress startup impulse current and voltage. The proposed method suppresses the impulse voltage by setting the magnitude of the command current at start-up, and then lets the command current equals the reverse harmonic current to compensate harmonic current when the DC-link voltage rises to the set value. Finally, the simulation results of pre-charge resistance, current limiting resistance and start-up strategy are given respectively. The results show that the method can the improve suppression of starting impact.
