Path Planning of Restaurant Delivery Robot Based on Improved Ant Colony Algorithm

The path planning problem of dining robot is studied, and a path optimization method based on improved ant colony algorithm is proposed. Firstly, according to the working environment of dining room delivery robot, the working environment model of dining room delivery robot is established by grid method. In this paper, simple and complex two kinds of environmental models are given. Secondly, the improved ant colony algorithm adopts adaptive heuristic function, and on this basis, the state transition probability is improved to increase the attractiveness of the target point; and the optimization ant is modified by reward system. Finally, the global path planning simulation experiments of dining robot working in different environments are carried out. The results of the research verify the feasibility of the algorithm.
