Design of automotive brakejoint size detection system based on TIA Portal

Aiming at the problems of low detection accuracy and low efficiency of the size detection of automobile brake joints, a set of detection system based on TIA Portal is designed. The system uses Siemens S7-1200 PLC (Program Logistic Controller) as the controller, servo motor as the system running motor, and Siemens TP900 Smart Series HMI control panel as the control panel. The system can set the total number of detections through the HMI touch screen, and monitor the signal through the sensor to monitor the system running process in real time to ensure the normal operation of the system. The configuration simulation results show that the system not only has the characteristics of safety and high efficiency, but also greatly improves the detection efficiency of the brake joint size of the automobile, reduces the production cost of the enterprise, and further improves the automation degree of the brake joint size detection.
