Research on Reactive Power and Voltage Support Capability of Distribution PV power station

At present, the reactive power supporting ability of distributed photovoltaic (PV) power stations wins much attentions, and its corresponding evaluation has important theoretical and practical significance. However, there are many factors, including the access modes, the number of access points, the access voltage level and the power factor, can affect the reactive power supporting ability, which makes it difficult to comprehensive evaluate the reactive power supporting ability of distributed PV power station. In view of this, a comprehensive evaluation method is proposed in this study, it builds a comprehensive evaluation index system fully considering variety of influencing factor. By using the data collected from the typical PV power station verifies the proposed comprehensive evaluation index system and reactive power supporting ability evaluation method.
