Intelligent Transportation System and Future of Road Safety

World health organization recognized road accidents as one of the social and public health problems. Intelligent transportation system which is totally based on advanced telecommunication and information technology is already being used to overcome this problem. However, the constantly increasing fatal accident on road, requires usage of technology to predict human behavior and future interaction. This paper therefore looks into modem technologies, such as computer vision and artificial intelligence to identify solutions for the detection of real-time human behavior and interaction on road.
