On the Possibilities of Controlling the Dynamic Properties of Cylindrical Piezoceramic Radiators in Telecommunication Problems

For telecommunication tasks, the possibilities of controlling the electrical dynamic acoustic properties of cylindrical piezoceramic radiators formed from two coaxial piezoceramic shells with taking into account the coupling of physical fields acting in the radiators and varying the excitation and design parameters of the radiators are determined from the electrical side. Based on the analytical relationships obtained by the coupled field method in multiply connected regions, quantitative dependencies between the amplitude-frequency characteristics of the acoustic pressure in the far field and the excitation parameters (the ratio of the amplitudes of the voltages supplied to the shells and the phase difference between the voltages) and the structure (the ratio of shell thicknesses to radii). A number of regularities in the obtained dependences are found, demonstrating the potential possibilities and ways of controlling the dynamic properties of the complex radiators under consideration. A physical analysis of the causes of the appearance of such patterns is presented.
