Investigation of the electromagnetic properties of bone and soft tissue regeneration materials

Dielectric biologic materials, so as materials used in dental implantation, heated to the human body temperature, irradiate electromagnetic waves in the millimeter range. These electromagnetic properties can affect biologic tissues they are contact with. This paper is devoted to the investigation of the electromagnetic properties of the materials using for bone and soft tissues regeneration. Some materials used in traumatology, orthopedy and dental implantation were randomly selected. They were Calcium salt of orthophosphoric acid, preparations Biomin GT 500, Biomin GT 700, Osteoplast K, Osteoplast M, Osteoplast T, Polihemostat. In the experiment they were heated to Human body temperature and measured with described hardware. The results of the experimental investigations, hardware and research methodology are described in details. Measured electromagnetic irradiation values of the studied materials were compared with irradiation of some parts of the human body and with preparations of the bone tissue of animal origin. Physical processes of the microwave flows forming when indicated materials are used in implantation and their possible influence on the human body are considered. Recommendations for possible using of the investigation results in the field of development of new materials for practical medicine are given.
