Model and experiment of a needle-type micro-liquid jetting system driven by piezoelectric actuator

In order to achieve the precise micro-dispensing of various colloids in the field of microelectronic packaging, a micro-liquid jetting system based on a diamond-shaped micro-displacement amplifier for a piezoelectric actuator was designed. The equivalent “spring damping” model of the system was established, which used the lumped parameter method, and the reliability of the simulation results analyzed the influence of system parameters on droplet volume and detachment effect. Experiments and simulations showed that when the displacement of the needle was within the range of 0.3 ~ 0.5mm, it was conducive to ejecting complete droplets. At an input voltage signal with a peak voltage of 120V and a frequency of 100Hz, the complete droplets were ejected uniformly, which met the requirements.
