The Use of Various Input Data in the Design of Public Transport Route Networks

The article describes the features and stages of the formulation and solution of the problem of building an effective route network in a large city. The article describes the necessary source data to solve this problem. An algorithm is proposed for the formation of the initial set of routes for the public transport network based on the use of intermediate information on the functioning modes of the entire transport system of the city. Further steps to improve the initial set of routes using genetic algorithms are described.
