Numerical solution of Magnetohydrodynamic flow through Circular ducts

In this article, Magnetohydrodynamic flow through the pipes with circular and elliptical cross sections has been taken. The walls of the pipe are partially conducting. One of the efficient numerical methods FEM is applied to solve the problem. Numerical computations are carried out by using Finite Element Method for the Hartmann numbers upto 1000.. By varying the conducting portion of the walls the characteristics are analysed for the velocity and magnetic field which are presented in terms of contours.
