Cloud-Fog Orchestration Infrastructure for Ante-natal Health Care Systems

The Nigeria antenatal health system (AHS) for both rural and urban dwellers is beclouded with high rate of maternal deaths as a result of poor health practices as well as well as non-engagement of smart e-health solutions. The existing approaches to pre-natal health systems (specially to assist pregnant women access antenatal services) are defective and lack the sophistications of ICTs integrations. Motivated by these concerns, this paper developed a Cloud- Fog orchestration network system that runs Optimum Probability Density Function Algorithm (OPDFA). In the design, the health expert systems leverage OPDFA to deliver real time message diagnosis to pregnant patients remotely. By introducing Fog orchestration latencies in the ANC Cloud network, Agile short distance optimization algorithm (ASDOA) and Elastic TCP algorithm (ETCPA) were compared with OPDFA yielding 55.56%, 33.33% and 11.11% respectively. The result demonstrates high efficiency for excellent service delivery.
