A 30GHz Microstrip Square Patch Antenna Array for 5G Network

The use of antenna array in microstrip antenna design is a good choice for 5G Mobile communication, due to its capacity to operate in the millimeter waveband, and also enhances the overall antenna gain and bandwidth. This paper presents the design and simulation of a microstrip square patch antenna array for 5G mobile Network communication at 30GHz using Microwave studio software. The Square patch array is designed and compared with a single patch element. Thereafter, a four element array is proposed in this paper at 30GHz frequency to achieve high gain, energy efficiency and better bandwidth.
