Research on Overload Current Measurement of Intelligent Process of Miniature Circuit Breaker Based on BP Neural Network

The intelligentization of circuit breakers is related to the development of smart grids. At present, the intelligent technology of air circuit breakers and moulded case circuit breakers has matured, but small circuit breakers rarely see their related reports. This is because the most critical of the intelligentization of the circuit breaker is the current detection technology, and the existing current measurement means cannot break the limitation of the small size of the miniature circuit breaker, thereby restricting the development of the miniature circuit breaker to the intelligent direction. In this paper, the current of the miniature circuit breaker is measured by the current thermal effect and BP neural network modeling method. The BP neural network model was established by some experimental data and trained to obtain a miniature circuit breaker current measurement model, and the model was validated with experimental data not involved in training. The results show that the model can accurately calculate the overload current of the miniature circuit breaker, which provides a reference for the current measurement of the miniature circuit breaker.
