Low-loss nitrogen-doped silica fibers: the prospects for applications in radiation environments

Summary form only given. We present /spl gamma/-radiation resistance tests of N-doped fibers. The basic idea of this work is to compare radiation-induced loss in N-doped fibers and conventional fibers for radiation environments.
