Identification of Corn Leaf Disease Based on Image Processing

In order to reduce the economic loss caused by corn disease, it is necessary to identify the disease quickly and accurately, so an image recognition system for corn leaf disease was constructed based on MATLAB environment. The system can preprocess the corn leaf disease image, and then extract 11 features such as shape and texture to form the optimal feature subset, and combine the support vector machine (SVM) method to create the recognition model. The correct recognition rate of the final training set was 93.7%, and the correct recognition rate of the test set was 89.38%.
