A combine mode selection based resource allocation and interference control technique for D2D communication

D2D, an integral part of 5G standard, introduces new opportunities for the researchers along with various challenges associated with it. In this paper, we have proposed a technique for resource allocation, mode selection and interference cancellation in licensed band device to device communication for public safety and ubiquitous networks. An orthogonal precoding and power control based technique has been proposed which can be used for joint mode selection and interference management while allocating same spectrum among multiple D2D user and cellular user during downlink communication. Also, a comparative performance analysis between conventional MIMO precoding and orthogonal precoding has been reported.
