Non-linear I-V Behavior of a VRLA Battery During Discharging

A dynamic electric model of any battery is necessary for simulation, charging strategy and real time control analysis. Battery charging, self-discharging and discharging behavior are the most important parts of dynamic model designing of any battery. This work focus only on the discharging behavior of 12 volt, 26 A.h VRLA battery for identify the battery parameter. From regress experimental data during discharging the nonlinear behavior of a battery is verified and dynamic electro-thermal model of a battery is developed.
