Electromechanical Design Handset Prosthesis

This paper describes the development and testing of an electromechanical hand prosthesis using feedback technology to compensate for lost tactile sensations partially, as well as how the device is controlled by neurointerface. In the course of this work, the following innovations, which distinguish this project from similar products of competitors, have been developed. Firstly, the body of the hand prosthesis was designed and built from the ground up, which way the mechanical parts and electronic components arranged most optimally. The advantage of this design is the presence of a greater number of degrees of freedom in the joint elements of the prosthesis than in the analogs of the corresponding price category. Secondly, an Arduino Uno board label was designed and soldered to connect sensors and vibration motors, which together make up a system that partially and non-invasively compensates for lost tactile sensations. Third, a control method that uses the gaming neuro interface as the interface to read the user's brain signal, was introduced. Besides, special software which allows the user to set up the necessary gripes independently was written.
