Experimental Study on Eye Movement in the Process of Animation Multimedia Learning

In recent years, the research of multimedia learning is shifting from the traditional static research of combining picture and text to the dynamic research of combining animation (video) and sound. New experimental techniques based on eye movement behavior and brain data analysis are rapidly developing and maturing. On the one hand, the experimental study on eye movement behavior of multimedia learning can reveal the real-time information processing mechanism of learners' multimedia learning process. On the other hand, it can also open up new development fields and provide new research technology routes for traditional multimedia learning. The eye movement experiment of animation multimedia learning shows that the process of multimedia information processing by learners presents double situational nature; the process of learning information processing by learners needs to integrate text information and picture information organically, which is significantly different in different situations.
