Real Time Detection of Roadside Speed Breakers and Obstacles upto Knee-level

Navigation Guide refers to frameworks that helps people with vision misfortune to navigate safely. This paper proposes such a navigation guide that would assist visually impaired people in their navigation. The proposed device detects speed breakers on the street and other obstacles at floor level and knee level around individuals. The system includes six infrared sensors, Arduino Uno, power supply, three motors for vibration and a earphone. The framework's overall accuracy is 91% which reflects its acceptability by its domain of users. Experimental study shows the effectiveness of the proposed method with respect to existing methods.
