A Reactive Power Optimization Strategy Considering Relevance of Random Variables

The reactive power optimization of distribution network with wind power is studied at the operational level considering relevant scenarios. This paper studies the uncertainty of wind speed and load and gives the construction process of relevant scenarios. Then, the paper establishes the objective function considering static voltage stability, network loss, voltage excursion, and gives the corresponding constraints. The rationality of the proposed model is analyzed by numerical simulation. The results show that the method of constructing relevant scenarios at the operational level can improve the performance of reactive power optimization in the distribution network, and the priority-based multi-objective decision-making method can adjust the target bias adaptively according to the actual operation status of the system. The system runs stably, economically and provides high-quality power supply by using the proposed strategy.
