A Modified Genetic Algorithm for Increasing the Efficiency of Routing in Self-Organized Networks

Features of functioning of genetic algorithms (GA) are considered. The analysis of problems and possible ways of their elimination during the functioning of the GA is carried out. In order to increase the efficiency of routing data in self-organized networks, a modified GA is proposed, the essence of which is to find a route with the best value of the target function based on the removal / addition of a node to the route, provided that the node for removal / addition is located in the common reaching range of the nodes under consideration. The proposed algorithm can prevent premature convergence strategy through the proposed route selection for mating and removal of the same routes with the population.
