Microprocessor System of Determining the Intensity of Traffic

The article describes the basic principles of traffic monitoring. The basis of traffic monitoring information systems are visual observers and sensors of traffic parameters. The current traffic sensors show unsatisfactory results in the conditions of intensive vehicle traffic, parking of the vehicle on the traffic lane, visual overlapping of the traffic sensor vehicle and when moving the vehicle between lanes. The article proposes a system architecture using Hall sensors to collect primary vehicle traffic information. The hardware implementation of the prototype of the data processing unit of the system has been developed and the possibility of applying the magnetic resonance effect to determine the traffic intensity of vehicles has been experimentally proved.
