Scattering of the Electrically Large Target Based on the Electromagnetic Vortex

The electromagnetic (EM) scattering of the electrically large target which is illuminated by the electromagnetic vortex is simulated in this paper. The electromagnetic vortex used as the excitation source is generated by a shaped parabolic antenna. The simulations in this paper demonstrate that the operating range and the position relationship between the antenna and the target have a significant effect on the scattered field based on the electromagnetic vortex.
