Android App Success Prediction based on Reviews

The amount of apps that are being generated in this computer-driven visual world is colossal. The problem arises when customers have a huge collection of apps to select from to quench their day-to-day needs. Google's Play Store and Apple's App Store alone have about 2.6 million apps and 1.8 million apps each for customers to choose from. It is important to use the data generated by these apps on the stores to analyze past trends, and other such information to predict the success of an app. This research work proposes to use sentiment analysis on the selected app reviews combined with certain mentioned attributes to predict the star ratings which determines the app's success.
