NS-3 Based Simulation and Analyse for WLAN Based Wireless Self-Organization Link

In emergency data communication, a portable, efficient handheld device based data link is very useful. So the WLAN based Wireless Self-organization Link (WSOL) system is suitable for this case. WSOL is a multihop linear wireless network with relays between source and destination node. The communication link can be set up automatically and optimally. The capacity of WSOL can be well reflected by simulation. Understanding the parameter variation of WSOL helps us to build the testbed system and analyze the field trial results. In this paper, we use Network Simulator 3 (NS-3) as the network simulator to build the testbed of WSOL and simulated the system's throughput, delay, jitter and packet loss rate. We discussed the simulation result and gave some suggestions for improvement.
