Research on Parts Detection System Based on LabVIEW

With the rapid development of automated production lines, machine vision inspection has been widely used in parts inspection and target sorting. In this paper, based on LabVIEW machine vision, a part detection system based on automated production line is proposed. First, the calibration of the target detection area, in order to detect the parts in the image more quickly, to track the target of the part, to pre-process the image to reduce the influence of noise, light source and other external environment, in order to obtain the actual part on the production line The coordinate position is used to establish the two-dimensional coordinates and the pixel coordinates are converted to the actual coordinates. The feature of the object is extracted for extracting the contour information of the part, the matching template is set to perform template matching on the part, and the qualified number is displayed on the front panel in real time. By selecting different tracking templates and matching templates, this system can quickly trace the target parts and perform template matching to detect those unqualified parts.
